📝 Basant 2027 Registration Requirements

1. Valid CNIC (Computerised National Identity Card)

🪁 Kite Seller Registration — What You Must Know

If you plan to sell kites during Basant Lahore 2027, you may ONLY sell the two officially approved kite types:

• Patang — Maximum size: 35 inches wide × 30 inches long / 4.5 Githi
• Gudda — Maximum size: 40 inches wide × 34 inches long / 1.5 Tawa

🧵 Dor Vendor Registration — QR Code Pinna Requirement

This is one of the most important new requirements for Basant 2027. Every registered dor vendor must supply dor with a QR Code Pinna — a spool/bobbin with a QR code that allows District Administration Lahore to trace the source and type of dor.

• All dor supplied for Basant 2027 must be cotton-based and free from chemical, glass or metal coating

🏭 Kite Manufacturer Registration

Kite manufacturers must ensure their production complies with the size limits set in the Punjab Ordinance. Before manufacturing kites for Basant 2027 season, verify:

• Your manufacturing activity is registered under the current Ordinance
• All kites produced use only permitted materials (bamboo frame, fabric/paper — no prohibited materials)
• Kite sizes do not exceed approved maximums (Patang: 35"×30" / Gudda: 40"×34")
• No Charkhi-type or oversized kites are manufactured for the Basant window
