PTA temporary phone registration
- Who: foreign nationals and overseas Pakistanis visiting short term.
- How long: 120 days from arrival (90 days if you apply after the first 30 days).
- Where: create an account on the PTA DIRBS site (dirbs.pta.gov.pk) and apply.
- You need: passport number, a Pakistani SIM in your name, the phone’s IMEI, email, and arrival and departure dates (plus CNIC or NICOP for overseas Pakistanis).
- Limits: one phone per person; it works only with the SIM registered with it.
